In the Philippines, the children used Gumamela leaves and flowers with detergent powder to make bubbles using papaya stems as blowpipes. It's a common past time for kids as some blow the bubbles while others try to chase and burst them. The mixture is slippery as a dish washingg liquid. Use mortar and pestle to grind the flowers and leaves, add water and soap. Voila! I haven't tried it with the dishes, though.
