How much gunpowder is considered a lethal dose to a dog?

I have a female pitbull that is 1.5 years old and recentely my ex-best friend stole her. When I found out the he had stole her I went and got her back and called the police. A little while later I found out the he had gave her some gunpowder in an attempt to make her mean. I am thinking about taking her to the vet but first I want to know how much gunpowder is considered a lethal dose to her.How much gunpowder is considered a lethal dose to a dog?
you mAY PRESS CHARGES,,, this is EXTREME ANIMAL ABUSE

any amount of gunpowder causes EXTREME PAIN,,, that is where the so called aggression comes from..

CALL THE POLICE AND PRESS CHARGESHow much gunpowder is considered a lethal dose to a dog?
Your girl needs activated charcoal NOW. She'll very likely have a bleeding ulcer if you don't get help soon. The vet will administer the activated charcoal, and it will absorb the gunpowder. Though you must go now. Hopefully with urgent care, your pit will not have long term damage.

So hurry!
first of all, how long ago did she ingest the gunpowder, it may have passed through her system by now. but ide still take her to the vet, could cause damage to her kidneys, liver, etc.
TAKE HER TO THE VET!!! He's an idiot! Make him pay the vet bills! I hope she is ok!
you should explain that to your vet - they should know best.

i hope she's okay.
Kick your ';Friends'; ***...

And of course take the dog to the vet.
You need to take the dog to the vet to document what happened to your poor dog. Then go to local animal control to report the crime and make a police report.

You can go to National Animal Poison Control Center at www.napcc.aspca.org for more information
are you serious. like your waiting for us to answer. i guess you hate your dog. let her die. but seriously take her to the vet.

  1. You can also call Pet Poison Helpline at 800-213-6680 for more information. They are more cost effective at $35/case vs. ASPCA's $60/case. Good luck - sounds like you need to get to a vet.
