I've been using Fashion Fair's Creme-to-Powder foundation in Pure Brown for the last 6 years. When I ran out of my last batch, I found out that color had been discontinued, and that the name was now associated with a much, much darker color. I've scanned Makeup Alley and Specktra for a close match, but they were no help. All of the Fashion Fair equivalency/conversion charts use the new colors, and that's no help at all.
I don't care what brand you give me. It can be cheap or high end, but I need to match that shade as closely as possible. Pure Brown was just that, a pure brown: not too red, not too golden. It was an exact match to my skin tone, and now it's gone.My Fashion Fair foundation was discontinued! What is the next best thing?
Go bare. Save your money. Just use a good quality cleanser, toner, and SPF 20 or stronger moisturizer/sunscreen. Use an eye zone moisturizer.
Use make-up for only ';state occasions'; - like parties and dress-up dinners.My Fashion Fair foundation was discontinued! What is the next best thing?
I'm not completely familiar with the shade you're referring to, but until you can find a perfect equivalent under another brand, try Prescriptives. If you go in they can custom blend a foundation for you that will be a perfect match. That should hold you over until you can test a few other brands and shades. Good luck!
Revlon new complexion one step is the best. I use to buy fashion fair and found that revlon looked much better.
* Glides on creamy smooth, finishes powder light - in one step.
* Coverage evens out skintone and texture instantly.
* Oil-Free
* Non-Pore-Clogging
* Irritant-Free
Give it a try. It feels like you don't have anything on your face. ';Revlon New Complextion One Step'; in the compact.
i know this is the typical answer, but try MAC, they have soo many shades of colors, you'll sure be able to find your color
