Just found out today that my fav foundation has been discontinuned! I hate it as foundation is a MUST staple for me. I also have fairly pale skin and need something to last all day. the one i had was a 9 hrs stay on, and theyve now made it darker, it is their lightest shade and way too dark for me!
Just wanted to vent! feel free to do the same here lol.
Am now on the lookout for a great pale NON orange foundation that offers coverage and stays put. In Aus. please share if youve used some good ones/ share discontinue dissappointments lol.How sad is it when they discontinue your fav foundation!?
Oh god girl, kill yourself, now, it's the only option. How sad is it when they discontinue your fav foundation!?
oh wow this sux go to website see if they have any of the old stuff there
and order a whole bunch!!
Get a mineral foundation. They adapt to your skin tone and go on so evenly without leaving lines. It doesnt even feel like you are wearing makeup either, its so soft, like powder, but stays on like a liquid foundation. I use Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup. Its not cheap, but not expensive. You get what you pay for basically. Give it a go i love it. Even if you dont use Sheer Cover, any kind of mineral makeup will work. The have about 5 different tones to start you off, very light - light - medium - tan/olive - dark .. you by the sounds of things will proabably need the very light. Once you apply it, it adapts to your natural colour anyway and as you apply just watch to see the colour change and once it looks like enough, just stop =) Go to this site i got this exact pack, it came to my house within 5 days of me ordering it =)

Hey Summer, check out aularale.com/7002 - theirs' is great and probably just what you're looking for.
Try L'Oreal. I have also very pale skin and have to double check colours. What I sometimes find is that foundation does look a bit too dark in the bottle, but when I actually put it on and smear it, it becomes much lighter. And I have to say, I do sometimes mix my own colours. Actually, that should read all the time.
i dont have pale skin so i can't really recommend any... but if you go to the department stores, you may be able to find a counter that offers custom color blending for your skin. they basically take different colors and blend until you find the color you want. i don't have a hard time finding my color so i haven't tried it myself, but they probably have functions like long lasting since theyre getting so advanced these days. I think you're stating that you are in australia? well, i'm not sure if they offer that kind of service there...
if you're able to purchase maybelline products, their new mineral foundations come in a great range of colors, and i've seen really really light ones. try playing with some of those too.
and if you find a color that you like but it wont stay on long like the one you used, i say get make up primer. ones that absorb oil and keep your foundation stay put work great. play with different ones, test a layer of the primer + foundation on top to make sure you get the coverage you need (not too cakey)!
It seems every time I find a product I like it gets discontinued. I usually can find it on Ebay. Try that.
