I have a stripe on fiberglass and metal that is cracking and i wanted to take it off. Is there a liquid that is not ';goo gone'; or ';3m adhesive remover';Is there a liquid similar to acetone and/or paint thinner that will not take off car paint(or finish)?
You can use laqure thinner to do it but be very careful not to go through the clear coat and after u hace removed what it is make sure to wax where u used laquer thinnerIs there a liquid similar to acetone and/or paint thinner that will not take off car paint(or finish)?
try a 3M Automotive 7498 3M Stripe Off Wheel part#07498.
lacquer thinner will surely remove your paint in a second.
