I looked it up on a bunch of different search engines but none tell me if I can or not. On the CG website, they say the Finishing Veil is for setting powder foundation, but can I use it to set my liquid foundation?

You can use any powder to set any form of foundation. It might not work for what you want (ie controlling oil) but it woudln't do anything bad.

I like to have a powder finish over my liquid foundation, and I like my make-up to be Cruelty Free...?

Try Lush. They're good about things like that, and while I haven't tried their face powders, I can safely say that their eye and lip products are excellent!

All the Boots no. 7 range are cruelty free and really good. It may be a little more expensive but lasts ages, so good value too.Like you I never use anything that has been tested on animals.

Do Boots test their products on animals ?
Answer: No. We do not use animals to test our products, nor do we have animal testing conducted on our behalf by anyone else. Instead, we ensure product safety through state-of-the-art testing methods on human volunteers.
Also we checked at out local Boots shop with the girl on the no 7 counter, who assured us that this is correct.
We have all the booklets and lists you have checked and its worrying that they sometimes contain the wrong information, so we always double check.

Love LOVE love the Boot's products. The UK have a strict E.U. standard that prohibit animal testing. Boot's cosmetics offer a chose of 3 powders. One loose powder in 2 shades....Three Compact powders in 3 shades...with the No7 Boot's Line and Botanic Boot's Line.
Do not go for loreal brand products, olay products...for they have been known for testing on animals.
You may find these in any Target store or online for under 12.99

Is Maybelline New York: Airbrush Finish Dream Liquid Mousse okay for greasy skin?
So, my friend just got it, and she has dry to normal skin. She says that it doesn't work for greasy skin (me) but how would she know? She doesn't have greasy skin! lol. But, I was wondering because it gets pretty good reviews on both.. But I want an answer from someone who uses it who as fairly greasy skin.
And also, how long does it stay on? Does it fade off after a few hours?

I have recently harvested the last of my tomatoes and was wondering if i can use the left over plant material to make a liquid feed for next year? i was going to stick the cuttings in a large bin and fill it with water. Tomatoes are one garden plant that should not be composted. Too much risk in spreading diseases. There's nothing in the plant itself that will be helpful for making a liquid fertilizer for your plants. It has a great potential for doing a lot more harm than good.
If you want to make your own liquid fertilizer, use comfrey leaves or stinging nettle. Be prepared; it's gonna stink like something died. the good thing about mineral makeup is that it has buildable coverage. you can make it as sheer as you want it or keep adding until you get the coverage you want. it depends on what type of mineral makeup you get. some are just setting powders for your foundation but some are actual foundations. i definitely recommend mineral makeup because it gives a natural finish and prevents the ';streaky'; or ';mask'; look that most liquid foundations can give if not applied right.Does mineral powder give the same coverage as liquid foundation or is it just used as a finish?

The thing that I love about the mineral foundation that I use is that I control the coverage I get by continously buffing it into my skin until I get the coverage that I want. It is lightweight, yes, but that has nothing to do with the coverage. My makeup lasts throughout the day and my complexion looks fabulous. I love that it is a pure mineral cosmetic. I would never let another product near my skin. :)
