How will gunpowder react to a charge of electricity from a AA battery?

And does it have to be commpressed? How will gunpowder react to a charge of electricity from a AA battery?
You would need an actual spark or high level of heat to ignite gunpowder with a battery - compression would certainly aid this, but gunpowder used in shells and bullets is rendered

flashless...meaning it needs an open flame to ignite it...that's why a shell has a primer cap which cause an initial explosion to set off the gunpowder. What you need is flash powder.

Flash powder is a lot less stable and will ignite with an electrical charge. How will gunpowder react to a charge of electricity from a AA battery?
It is possible, although perhaps unlikely, for a spark from an AA battery or for the heat generated by the discharge of an AA battery, to ignite gunpowder.

You should not be playing with this at home.
