I looked it up on a bunch of different search engines but none tell me if I can or not. On the CG website, they say the Finishing Veil is for setting powder foundation, but can I use it to set my liquid foundation?
I don't see why not, but nothing is telling me otherwise! Can I use CoverGirl TruBlend Microminerals Finishing Veil OVER my CG TB liquid makeup foundation?
Sure go for it, you can use any powder with any foundation, as long as they both match your fine. Can I use CoverGirl TruBlend Microminerals Finishing Veil OVER my CG TB liquid makeup foundation?
why wouldn't you be able to?
You can use any powder to set any form of foundation. It might not work for what you want (ie controlling oil) but it woudln't do anything bad.

I like to have a powder finish over my liquid foundation, and I like my make-up to be Cruelty Free...?
I've just started using Urban Decay, and I love their Surreal Skin foundation, but I want a powder to use with it too, which cruelty-free product would you recommend to me?I like to have a powder finish over my liquid foundation, and I like my make-up to be Cruelty Free...?
Try Lush. They're good about things like that, and while I haven't tried their face powders, I can safely say that their eye and lip products are excellent!

All the Boots no. 7 range are cruelty free and really good. It may be a little more expensive but lasts ages, so good value too.Like you I never use anything that has been tested on animals.
Reply to your later quetstion ... we always do an internet search ...
Do Boots test their products on animals ?
Answer: No. We do not use animals to test our products, nor do we have animal testing conducted on our behalf by anyone else. Instead, we ensure product safety through state-of-the-art testing methods on human volunteers.
Also we checked at out local Boots shop with the girl on the no 7 counter, who assured us that this is correct.
We have all the booklets and lists you have checked and its worrying that they sometimes contain the wrong information, so we always double check.
Hope that helps. Katt
Love LOVE love the Boot's products. The UK have a strict E.U. standard that prohibit animal testing. Boot's cosmetics offer a chose of 3 powders. One loose powder in 2 shades....Three Compact powders in 3 shades...with the No7 Boot's Line and Botanic Boot's Line.
Do not go for loreal brand products, olay products...for they have been known for testing on animals.
You may find these in any Target store or online for under 12.99
i use the body shop foundation, powder and bronser. i love it !

Is Maybelline New York: Airbrush Finish Dream Liquid Mousse okay for greasy skin?
So, my friend just got it, and she has dry to normal skin. She says that it doesn't work for greasy skin (me) but how would she know? She doesn't have greasy skin! lol. But, I was wondering because it gets pretty good reviews on both.. But I want an answer from someone who uses it who as fairly greasy skin.
And also, how long does it stay on? Does it fade off after a few hours?
Thanks a billion.
Oh, and its only greasy on my nose. Not anywhere else.Is Maybelline New York: Airbrush Finish Dream Liquid Mousse okay for greasy skin?
No I would not recomend it for oily skin. For oily skin i would go with a mineral powder foundation as it sops up oil and will have better staying powder.

Can i use Liquid Foundation and Transcluent Finishing Powder?
Im buying this stuff from Clinique. Would it make my face look cakey? Can i use Liquid Foundation and Transcluent Finishing Powder?
i suggest that u use foundation all over and belnd it in very well then use the powder but only a little bit at at time a blend the powder on a circle motion to really blend it and to prevnt it from looking cakey apply a little bit and blend it in a circle motion all over but only use a little bit and one coat of owder apllyuing to much powder can tend to make it look cakey but use a little bit to finish of ur look this will help make ur skin look flawlessCan i use Liquid Foundation and Transcluent Finishing Powder?
The trick is don't put liquid foundation all over your face, just put it on your problem/discoloured areas. Mostly found under the eyes, around the mouth and around the nose. Then apply a light finishing of powder all over your face, but not too much. And BLEND your foundation, to keep it from looking cakey.

Can i make my own liquid plant food using finished tomato plants?
I have recently harvested the last of my tomatoes and was wondering if i can use the left over plant material to make a liquid feed for next year? i was going to stick the cuttings in a large bin and fill it with water. Will this work? Can i make my own liquid plant food using finished tomato plants?
Bad idea.
Tomatoes are one garden plant that should not be composted. Too much risk in spreading diseases. There's nothing in the plant itself that will be helpful for making a liquid fertilizer for your plants. It has a great potential for doing a lot more harm than good.
If you want to make your own liquid fertilizer, use comfrey leaves or stinging nettle. Be prepared; it's gonna stink like something died. It's really not something you want to make now and store all winter to use next year. Make it next year and use it next year. Can i make my own liquid plant food using finished tomato plants?
No, but if they aren't diseased you can compost them and make compost tea to use as liquid fertilizer.

Does mineral powder give the same coverage as liquid foundation or is it just used as a finish?
the good thing about mineral makeup is that it has buildable coverage. you can make it as sheer as you want it or keep adding until you get the coverage you want. it depends on what type of mineral makeup you get. some are just setting powders for your foundation but some are actual foundations. i definitely recommend mineral makeup because it gives a natural finish and prevents the ';streaky'; or ';mask'; look that most liquid foundations can give if not applied right.Does mineral powder give the same coverage as liquid foundation or is it just used as a finish?
try MACDoes mineral powder give the same coverage as liquid foundation or is it just used as a finish?
better coerage. i used to work for sheer cover
yesss it does.
i use it all the time and it works great,
seriously. get ittt
its so good for your skin.
doesnt give you pimples or anything.
Its more light weight, it gives some coverage but not as good as a liquid foundation/concealer.
there are mineral powder foundation and also powder finish
i like mineral powder b/c they are long lasting and blends with my skin tone perfectly
i would recommend you try out various makeups b/c that way you would know what matches your skin type the best since everyone has different needs yaknow
I use kms mineral essentials. The thing that I love about the mineral foundation that I use is that I control the coverage I get by continously buffing it into my skin until I get the coverage that I want. It is lightweight, yes, but that has nothing to do with the coverage. My makeup lasts throughout the day and my complexion looks fabulous. I love that it is a pure mineral cosmetic. I would never let another product near my skin. :)

Recommendations for cream/liquid foundation that dries to a powder finish (3in1)?
Hi I dont wear much makeup and find concealer/foundation/powder too heavy. I want a good all in one a cream/liquid foundation that dries to a powder finish. Please recommend :-) I have very good skin and most make up looks good on me.Recommendations for cream/liquid foundation that dries to a powder finish (3in1)?
i would absolutely and whole heartedly recommend clinique superbalanced makeup
it is the best -- really nice and a natural colour with a lovely even coverage without being too thick or fake looking. it does dry to a powder finish - but a very non powdery one, if that makes sense. i have also found that layering it with a foundation primer gives the best result if you want a heavier coverage without looking like you've put any make up on.
what i do is use philosophy flawless tinted spf and then use the foundation on top with a mouse blusher by lancome

Revlon Colorstay vs Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation [liquid]?
which do you like better %26amp; whyRevlon Colorstay vs Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation [liquid]?
They're both great foundations and comparable in performance and quality. I use both, but if I had to choose I would go with Rimmel because it's cheaper, it's creamier, and it's easier to blend.Revlon Colorstay vs Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation [liquid]?
its been a while since ive used the rimmel one, but i remember that i liked it when i tried it.
revlon colorstay has such good coverage and really does stay on FOREVER! lol, but thats a problem in itself, because when i tried to wash my face at the end of the day, even after cleansing and scrubbing, it would still stay on.
well, i like revlon colorstay because their products remind me of mac and also, they have a nicer finish to me...

When i was having sex a saw a white liquid i wore a condom and didnt finish any ideas what that is?
:D all of you people that are calling him stupid.. shouldn't talk.. fyi pre cums clear! that was probably from the girl, or the residue on the condom because theres either lube or this powdery stuff ... (: dont worrryyyWhen i was having sex a saw a white liquid i wore a condom and didnt finish any ideas what that is?
1. Was it inside? If so, then it's pre-ejaculate
2. Was it on the outside? If so, then it's just the girl's discharge/normal lubrication.
3. It could simply be the lube of the condom, as well. When i was having sex a saw a white liquid i wore a condom and didnt finish any ideas what that is?
ya if ur havin sex u should know more about this kinda stuff but uhh ya scott is a good name. or nick
it is natural
I'm thinking that the friction of actual intercourse started melting the condom. You saw liquid latex. Next time, use some KY lubricant.

i also want it to be affordable, like something i can find at walmart, if you can give me an aproximate priceWhat is a good oil free liquid foundation, i am 20yrs old so i dont want a mat finish more on the sheer side?
The Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow Sheers foundation is great. I'm not sure if it's oil free or not, but it feels amazing and light on the skin. My skin actually feels healthier after putting on this foundation. It's between $10-$12 at Walmart I believe. What is a good oil free liquid foundation, i am 20yrs old so i dont want a mat finish more on the sheer side?
mineral foundation...
NoHoGlo minerl foundation from LAminerals.com. Sorry...not at wal-mart!!
THe NoHo is lil sheer and gives you that dewy/glowy/airbrushed look. I had tried bare minerals...but too expensive and made me itch. Physicians formula isnt bad, but kinda chalkey lookin in my opinion.
The NoHoGlo foundation is around $20, but I'm telling you it will last you about a year. So in the long run....not a bad price!

How could I put a shiny high gloss finish over my oil painting? I've seen it done- very high liquid gloss look?
http://campaign-game-miniatures.0catch.c鈥?/a>
there you go....i used this method it really worksHow could I put a shiny high gloss finish over my oil painting? I've seen it done- very high liquid gloss look?
When your oil painting is completely dry, at about six months drying time, use gloss damar spray varnish, available at any art or art/craft store (like Michaels). Spray outside, on a sunny day without too much wind (terrible stuff to breath in). Several light coats, drying an hour between, works best to get a really glossy, lacquered look.
If you don't want to wait six months, you can use gloss damar retouch spray varnish as soon as the painting is dry to the touch. Retouch varnish is basically the same chemicals as permanent varnish, but in a different combination and will not last as many years. You can also oil paint on top of retouch varnish, but not on top of permanent varnish.
I would NOT suggest sanding an oil painting unless you want that roughed up look. Part of the beauty of an oil painting is the brush strokes, so why sand them down? How could I put a shiny high gloss finish over my oil painting? I've seen it done- very high liquid gloss look?
Use a varnish. There are plenty around. And they all have a range of outcomes. I forgot what the one I use is called now... Superfine something? Its clear
Anyway, you need to make sure your painting is smooth before varnishing it, any lumpy bits will stand out a mile. You might want to sand it, if you do, do it outside.
And you need to make sure the painting is dry. Totally dry. As in dried for months. Even with a fairly thin painting, the inside takes much longer to dry than the crust that forms on top. Even though it looks and feels dry, it often isn't.
Edit, superfine picture varnish* - Should be used 6 months to a year after painting is complete.
Until then, you could use a retouching varnish, which is fine for more recently completed painting. Not quite as shiny though

I would say yes, but the powder foundation is a lighter application if you use a brush and a little heavier if you use the sponge that comes with it. Liquid will give you the most coverage. But I love the Studio Fix!
well before you go buying another MAC product research their ingredients on this link below.. I just started wearing makeup at the age of 30 and their products are harsh on my skin.. =(

Pregnant women do u release a liquid in your pants after you finish peeing even if you dry your self?
yes or no? and what could this be?Pregnant women do u release a liquid in your pants after you finish peeing even if you dry your self?
I am 26 weeks and after I pee it seems like I still leak a little....especially when I bend over or stand up from a sitting position.Pregnant women do u release a liquid in your pants after you finish peeing even if you dry your self?
It could be leukorrhea--a whitish discharge. It's just your vagina cleaning itself, but for some reason we make more of it when we're pregnant (esp. during the end of the pregnancy). If it smells bad, causes you to itch, etc., then it could be an infection and you'll need to go to the doctor for that.
It is most likely not pee, it's probably discharge. When you are pregnant you produce more discharge than normal. Im pregnant for the 2nd time, and I think this is pretty normal.
No, that's never happened to me ... perhaps you aren't quite done going. Or maybe you didn't wipe as thoroughly as you needed to. I think your best is to speak to your doctor about this.
Good luck.
Yes, it's normal and it's called leukorrhea. It's white and it's just due to the hormonal changes that are going through your body.
Yes. Happens to me more and more with each week as I get bigger. I wear a pantyliner.
it's realy normal!no worrys!

Matte powdery finish or liquid dewy finish foundation?
WHICH ONE LEAVES THE BEST FINISH?Matte powdery finish or liquid dewy finish foundation?
use both! use the liquid for a all over coverage and then use the powder very lightly over the 'T' zone on the face to take the shine off, but don't over do it or you will have a dark 'T' zone that looks odd.Matte powdery finish or liquid dewy finish foundation?
I'm not sure because I use Dermablend cake makeup. It lasts all day!!
Depends on your skin type. Go to a makeup stand somewhere and try both looks (one on one side of your face, the other look on the side) and see what you like best. For most natural go with liquid foundation with powder over it.

When making a boiling point of water graph, when it askes for when the liquid finish boiling what is it saying
would they be asking the time right after the plateau has ended which the degrees in celcius is higher or would they be asking for where the temperature cools down which is befor the platea. should the point after the platea has ended have a higher degrees than the plateau? When making a boiling point of water graph, when it askes for when the liquid finish boiling what is it saying
From your description of the graph, you are plotting time versus temperature. I would think that the most important data would be the time when the graph became horizontal, in other words, how long it took to reach the boiling point. If the question was really ';when did the water finish boiling?';, I don't think that it was expressed correctly. The water, in a container open to the air, would only '; finish boiling'; when it had all changed from liquid to vapor.

Is there a black eyeliner pencil that gives the shiny finish of liquid eyeliner and is waterproof?
I'm looking for an eyeliner pencil that gives that patent shiny finish that liquid eyeliner provides, I also really prefer an automatic pencil over a wood one, and it has to be waterproof? Is there a black eyeliner pencil that gives the shiny finish of liquid eyeliner and is waterproof?
try urban decay 24/7 eyeliners. Is there a black eyeliner pencil that gives the shiny finish of liquid eyeliner and is waterproof?
Not that I know of....
You're a guy... 0_o
What you described is possible, but unfortunately it's discontinued it was the MAC pearlglide liners in Fall 2008, while it's a pencil liner it gives the effect you are looking for. I think at this point you should just stay with liquid liner for the effect, liquid liner is almost always waterproof.
well you might not be able to find all of that in one. You might have to be a little less picky.
You can probably find a good gel pencil liner that would give a shinier look than a kohl pencil. Otherwise, try and learn to apply liquid liner.

Has anyone used Rimmel's new Lasting Finish liquid foundation?
I just bought it and have never used their products before - does it work?Has anyone used Rimmel's new Lasting Finish liquid foundation?
I haven't used it, but have heard good things about it. It supposedly feels very supple on the face and gives excellent coverage. Also, I heard one lady mention that even after 12 hours, it stayed put (and she has oily skin).

What kind of foundation is best for giving a flawless finish? Liquid or mousse?
Also how do I know what shade to buy. I have fairly good skin but my face goes red quite a bit so I want to hide that, but I don't wanna have like, foundation line around my face. What kind of foundation is best for giving a flawless finish? Liquid or mousse?
Everyone is different because of their skintone, texture, condition, age, oiliness etc. I find Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (nude) works well for me. If you want a personal recommendation go to Clarins (or similar) at your local department store for advice based on your specific skin colouration. What kind of foundation is best for giving a flawless finish? maybelline wonderfinish foundation is incredible! its a liquid that looks like a powder on ur face. powders tend to be chalky when applied but they have the matte finish, with this foundation u get both fantastic coverage and a matte finish!
t avoid gettin the line around ur face when doin ur forehead literalle blend into the hairline, blend into the ears and on ur chin blend right down into ur neck. always check when finished at different angles in case u've missed any spots. theres nothin more embarrasing than half way thru the day notiicng a thick foundation line along ur cheek!!
good luck!

What I do is I use the Elizabeth Arden flawless perfection with the sponge (it comes in a cake) and then I use the liquid flawless perfection on top around my jawline to rub in any foundation marks. Any beauty counter will help you find the perfect foundation colour for you. You'll find a brand that suits you if you go round them all.
go to sephora and they'll show you what your shade is. I like mousse foundation, but i love the tinted moisturizer. Stila [from sephora] has amazing tinted moisturizer!
i think it depends on your skin...
becasue if you have quite dry skin and use liquid then it may get stuck in the dry patches. if you go to a make-up shop you can ask them which one would be better for your skin, thats what i did [:
You gotta try max facactor liquid foundation in nude.
I use Elizabeth Arden's flawless finish Mousse. Spreads evenly and i use the number 1. You can hardly notice i have a foundation on and it is light and not greasy at all. It does not leave a line around your face it is lovely. Hope you can get it in Uk. Good luck and have a lovely New-years day.:)
I used to love maybeline dream matte mousse but I am completely converted to mineral make up, it is a powder. I use bellapierre, just google it and look on the web page. It is fabulous, perfect, even, light coverage. I have really oily skin and get spots but hardly ever now I use this. I have spent years looking for good make up and this can not be beaten!
DREAM MATTE MOUSE THE BESTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P
Maybelline matte mousse is really good ask in store for them to help you pick your right shade, also use moisturiser before you apply foundation to make it look flawless.
Nobody wears liquid or mousse foundations nowadays it's all about minerals . Bare minerals is the BEST and looks fantastic on the skin. Can purchase it on eBay . Hope this has helped you make your mind up ?
If you have a problem with redness then Benefit do a concealer stick called 'your'e bluffing' which is yellow and cancels out the redness in your skin, you just apply a few light strokes and blend, It's best to do this before foundation rather than getting the wrong colour foundation to cover it as it will look fake and mask like, as for the right colour- all you need to do is to match it to your face, its best to test it on your jaw line and go outside to see what it looks like in different lights. Don't test it on your hand, as your hand isn't the same colour as your face. If you want a really flawless finish i would probably say mousse is best as it's a slighty heavier coverage and they tend to be more matte, a liquid gives a more natural finish. Hope this helps x
pile cream
dream matte mouse is a great foundation which leaves you flawless and i would recomend the shade sand but it might not suit your skin so when you go in to the shop look at the testers and apply them to your hand and see if they blend in if they do buy that colour
you can buy dream matte mouse from superdrug and boots and most good chemists/pharmacy's
if you have any trouble finding it - it looks like this :

My favourite is Teint Idol Ultra from Lanc么me, which is liquid. They've also got a more transparent one called Color Ideal.
Be sure to get the right tone for your skin. Most white girls needs beige tones wich is (in Lanc么me) nr 010 (porcelain), 01, 03 and 05 - number 03 beeing the bestselling in the Nordic countries as far as I know. The colours 02, 04 and 06 has a pink tone, and might not cover the red you want to hide.
Apply with a foundation brush with down-and-out strokes for a flawless result. Good luck!

What ingredient in liquids cause teeth to stain?
Usually its colas and coffee and its the caramel coloring in the products. In addition, the acids in colas eat away at your enamel and make colors easier to absorb. What ingredient in liquids cause teeth to stain?
There are many causes. The most common include consumption of foods, coffee, tea, wine, sodas, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce and smoking. The stain color results from a chemical reaction occurring in the plaque.
Other causes of discoloration could be due to certain childhood illnesses, medications, physical trauma (these aren鈥檛 responsive to bleaching treatment ), old fillings as well as aging that may even contribute towards the darkening of your teeth.
In other words, our teeth naturally get more and more stained as time goes on and as we continue to live our lives. What ingredient in liquids cause teeth to stain?
tannins
everything here is true, but they forgot to list chocolate. THat's a major stainer no one really talks about
color
There are way to many to list!
Almost anything can stain your teeth. Teeth always have stain, microscopic or not. Your teeth, just like all your other bones, are porous, so they absorb liquids and other particles carried by the liquids. The finer the liquid, the easier they're absorbed. The darker the color, the more obvious and the quicker the stain. Place little drops of all liquids that you drink on a white dense cotton shirt (or any porous material similar to teeth) and observe the differences. Remember that your saliva is liquid too so it's a carrier for stain particles like cigarette smoke and other dirt in the air around you (are you paranoid yet?)
Just brush your teeth after every meal (after snacks too if you can, I know I can't) and you should be able to keep stains in your teeth way below a noticeable level. Of course any stain level that you have absorbed since you were born can only be reduced so much. Some of it have already chemically bonded with your teeth.
Cheers! (toothy smile)
Coffee and/or tea
Usually tannin (coffee,tea, wine),
its color ingredient... even non-color liquid stains... so, it is advisable that we have to brush our teeth 3 - 4 times a day...
caffeine, if you are drinking dark colas, use a straw, if you smoke, brush more than once a day, if you have taken tetracycline for any infections, get your teeth seen to by a dentist, beer, wine and other very high sugar drinks will also stain your teeth... and yeah... GRAPES! LOL

I need to mix an ingredient into liquid and I do not know how to mix them properly.?
I was instructed that a starting usage rate would be 0.10 % uL in a finished liquid. I do not know how to properly measure that amount of microlitre. Is 0.10% suppose to be of the liquid or the ingredient? So if I was mixing it into 750 mL of finished liquid does that mean .75mL of the ingredient? Sorry for any confusion or if my question is unclear. Thanks for any help.I need to mix an ingredient into liquid and I do not know how to mix them properly.?
That is how I understand the problem too. It's a good guess.

I've got an American cookbook, can somebody tell me the liquid and dry ingredient equivalent to a cup measure
One pint liquid = 2 cups (American cups are standard 1/2pt, but American pts are slightly smaller than British so their cup is equivalent to two-fifths a British pt).
1lb butter or other fat = 2 cups
1lb flour = 4 cups
1lb gran or castor sugar = 2 cups
1lb icing sugar = 3 cups
1lb brown (moist) sugar = 2 2/3 cups
1lb golden syrup or treacle = 1 cup
1lb rice = 2 cups
1lb dried fruit = 2 cups
1lb chopped meat (finely packed) = 2 cups
1lb lentils or split peas = 2 cups
1lb coffee (unground) = 2 1/3 cups
1 lb soft breadcrumbs = 4 cupsI've got an American cookbook, can somebody tell me the liquid and dry ingredient equivalent to a cup measure

16 tablespoons (dry)I've got an American cookbook, can somebody tell me the liquid and dry ingredient equivalent to a cup measure
Americans tend to use volume measures, which are convenient, though not terribly accurate for dry ingredients (eg. flour).
Anyway, a cup is 8 fl oz.
The conversions you need are specific to the ingredient to be measured, ie flour, sugar, milk, etc. This site is the best around!

Table salt is a solid and acetone is a liquid. Acetone is the main ingredient in the nail polish remover.?
what consclusion can you draw about the melting points of these materials?Table salt is a solid and acetone is a liquid. Acetone is the main ingredient in the nail polish remover.?
noneTable salt is a solid and acetone is a liquid. Acetone is the main ingredient in the nail polish remover.?
The melting point of table salt is MUCH higher than the melting point of acetone. If you think about it acetone has already been melted at room temperature since it is in liquid form. If you would like to do an experiment and also ruin your mothers cookware, try melting some salt on a pan.
Well, none really. The acetone is already melted and the salt is not. You could say that the melt point of salt is higher than that of acetone, but you cannot make a guess as to what that point might be.
Nail polish is not part of the question.
In fact salt has a very high melt point, but no information in your question really hints at that
is this orgo or gen chem???coolest myspace

Does anyone know where I can find the following ingredients; Spiritus Salicylicus(liquid 1%)..?
Sulphur(usually bright yellow powder), and Norsulfazol(white powder). The person that used to get these ingredients for me got the from Bulgaria, and well I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could fine them in California or maybe buy them anywhere online? ThanksDoes anyone know where I can find the following ingredients; Spiritus Salicylicus(liquid 1%)..?
Personally, I wouldn't use these items. People that live in Bulgaria, Belarus, Poland, etc. (Eastern Europe and Russia) have ideas on how to use these various medications, but very little is based on science in some cases. Some of them know how to use them exactly right, but many do not. The Norsulfazol is a dangerous drug and can cause poisoning. I wouldn't mess with it.
Suplhur is available at almost any chemical supply store or health food store.
Salicylic acid is strong, I hope you know the exact mechanism and use for it.
When in doubt, educate yourself on how to use these, especially if they are going to be used on children (I don't recommend this at all).

What is the ingredient in Bob Ross' Liquid white/Clear that makes oils more blendable?
The basic recipe for Liquid White is
equal parts each Titanium White paint, Linseed oil and Thinner (either Turpentine or Mineral Spirits).
For slower drying, add more linseed %26amp; for faster drying use less oil and more spirits. What is the ingredient in Bob Ross' Liquid white/Clear that makes oils more blendable?
Paint thinner.
(I should say linseed oil but it is really just that he sold them thinned out)
You can get the same effect with linseed oil anyhow, but it will likely yellow over time.
I think it is better to but a bit better oil for that. What is the ingredient in Bob Ross' Liquid white/Clear that makes oils more blendable?

Whenever I cook with liquid smoke/eat anything where it is an ingredient, I get sick... any substitutes for it
I'm making a barbecue sauce recipe that calls for liquid smoke, but I just cannot ingest the stuff without getting sick. Is there any substitute I could use for it?Whenever I cook with liquid smoke/eat anything where it is an ingredient, I get sick... any substitutes for it
Try adding a little bit of ground cumin and some chipotle chili seasoning. This adds a nice smoky flavor without the smoke. I have the same problem with liquid smoke and so does my dad!Whenever I cook with liquid smoke/eat anything where it is an ingredient, I get sick... any substitutes for it
My suggestions were smoked bacon or ham, smoked paprika or chipotle adobo sauce. Then I went to the Cook's Thesaurus and found this:
liquid smoke Notes: This is a very potent seasoning that imparts a smoky flavor to meat, fish, and vegetarian mock meat products. A little goes a long way. Substitutes: smoked ham hocks (in a stew or sauce) OR omit from recipe OR chipotle pepper (hotter) OR bacon
Ugh, I can't stand liquid smoke! I can do a wee bit of Hickory Smoked Salt... you may try that. I like spice Islands brand, b/c the salt is really smoked, not just smoke-flavored. You may also try a gourmet grocery store or Williams-Sonoma to buy other salt that has been truly smoked in a smoker and not just flavored that way.
Otherwise, just leave the flavoring out! Grill the meat a bit on the pit outside to give it some outdoorsy flavor, then add your sauce.
Don't add it to the recipe!! Any seasoning can be left out of any recipe. This is just for seasoning or flavoring.
My dad couldn't eat garlic in any form, my mother couldn't have any form of pepper, black, white or red!!
I learned to cook without these ingredients in recipes. Just ignore them!! The dish will taste different, but will be just as good to you!!!
Who do we cook for??? We cook for ourselves!!!
The stuff makes me sick also- I use bacon or bacon bits. Be sure to read the label, some bacon bits are soy with the smoke flavor added.coolest myspace

What is an ingredient that you can add to a runny liquid to make it harden?
I need an ingredient that you can add to a liquid thats runny and make it hard. It has to be edible, too. What is an ingredient that you can add to a runny liquid to make it harden?
Yes, Corn starch. Mixed in the right quantities, it will change before your eyes and in your hands from a solid to a liquid and back again. It can be great fun to play with. Start with about 2 cups of corn starch and add about 1/3 to 1/2 a cup of water and see what happens... add more water as needed. You can pour it on table and it will feel hard to the touch, but if you pick it up in your hands it will change to liquid and pour back onto the table, probably due to the heat of your hands. It is a great way to entertain children as well as adults. And it cleans up great and makes your skin feel soft. Seriously, try it, it is fun, but you will be hooked. I always keep a box of corn starch in my cupboard just for entertainment purposes. It is edible, but I wouldn't think it would taste very good. What is an ingredient that you can add to a runny liquid to make it harden?
flour?
cornstarch or flour
So much for concrete!
Gelatine
Cornstarch to Soups, Gelatine works with everything else.
Cornstarch, keep in mind though that it will thicken when it cools more than when its warm so try spooning it in one at a time. For very thick consistency try up to 4 tablespoons full per cup of water. For light thickness try 2 tablespoons...etc...
cornflour
gelatin and cornstarch do the job pretty well.

Why is lemonade made mostly of artificial ingredients, but dish washing liquid contains real lemons?
Good question
The lemon industry has a whole conspiracy to get us all to drink the dish washing liquid. Don't be fooled. Be very aware of what's in your cup.
I dont know but the funny thing is that the dishwasher has more concentrated lemon in it than lemonade!
buddy i am already confused with these questions...
'; Why do our noses run and feet smell?';
'; Why do people park in driways and drive in parkways?';
any answers?
lol
interesting i didnt know that
This is an experiment. How many times can we repost the same question %26amp; say DOWN WITH leged56?
That's just the way it is.
how bizarre. I'm gonna have to check it out.
Go figure.
Similarly, if Black Box do not break then why dont they make entire plane out of that stuff.
Amazing, isn't it?
no idea
hmmmmm.....that is strange........
Because we don't need the lemon acids to clean our intestines out like our pots and pans need the cleaning!!
because we'd rather drink dish washing liquid than gain weight
(i know it didnt make sense but it sounds clever)

How To Make Dishwashing Liquid with Salt as an ingredient?

--------------------------------------鈥?br>
1/2 cup liquid Castile soap
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
3 drops tea tree extract
1/4 cup white vinegar
Directions:
Combine water and liquid Castile soap. Stir and then add lemon juice, tea tree extract, and vinegar. Stir until blended evenly and store in a squeeze bottle.
Use 2 tablespoons per wash in a standard-size dishwasher.
Note: Do not substitute conventional liquid soap for the Castile soap unless it is a ';low sudsing'; soap. Regular soaps will produce too many suds and overflow the dishwasher. How To Make Dishwashing Liquid with Salt as an ingredient?

How can i make gumamela extract be an ingredient for dish washing liquid?
can you please give me the steps and recipe on how to do it. i will be very grateful. How can i make gumamela extract be an ingredient for dish washing liquid?
In the Philippines, the children used Gumamela leaves and flowers with detergent powder to make bubbles using papaya stems as blowpipes. It's a common past time for kids as some blow the bubbles while others try to chase and burst them. The mixture is slippery as a dish washingg liquid. Use mortar and pestle to grind the flowers and leaves, add water and soap. Voila! I haven't tried it with the dishes, though.
Let me know if it works.
Hope this helps.coolest myspace

Because after they made the dish-washing liquid there were no real lemons left.

My daughter lives in Europe and vinegar as we know it doesn't exist there.
It comes in powder form which has to be mixed with water.
Hope this solves the problem.

What are the ingredients of shoe stretch liquid?
I wish to mix up my own leather shoe stretch liquid what are the active ingredients that are required to make it workWhat are the ingredients of shoe stretch liquid?
Try using scented body spray from the dollar store. The first ingredient listed is alcohol, and it really does work. Just spray both inside and outside of the shoe, and wear until it dries. Repeat in needed. If the shoe has a suede type finish, spray only the inside. This is cheap(only $1), and smells better than Shoestretch or plain alcohol. Since it is meant to be sprayed on skin, it doesn't seem to irritate the skin on your feet while you are wearing the shoes waitng for them to dry.

Why is it lemon juice contains mostly artificial ingredients, but dishwashing liquid contains real lemons?
I would venture a guess to say because lemon's are expensive and to make a full thing of lemon juice it would take a lot of lemons, but cleaning products are trying to use the natural characteristics of lemons not just the taste so they need to use the real thing. And dishwashing liquid probably has very little lemon in itWhy is it lemon juice contains mostly artificial ingredients, but dishwashing liquid contains real lemons?
Hm. The lemon juice I buy always says ';Ingredients: Lemons'; on it!Why is it lemon juice contains mostly artificial ingredients, but dishwashing liquid contains real lemons?
that's a REALLY good question...
they prolly use a lot of artificial ingredients in lemon juice to help preserve it, and in the dish liquid it's used as a selling point.
I have never seen lemon juice that was not 100% lemon juice. Real lemon juice breaks up grease and so that's why its used in dish washing liquid.

The dish washing liquid thingy we have atm says on it 'no animal ingredients'?
Does that mean that usually my mums washing the pots with animals? The dish washing liquid thingy we have atm says on it 'no animal ingredients'?
Some soaps contain lard (animal fat). Veg soaps use plant fats. Basic soap is made by mixing lye and lard (or veg fat). When you mix the two a chemical reaction takes place producing soap. It's quite amazing actually. Lye by itself will eat your hands off. Fat by itself just makes your hands oily. Combined they will wash you and all your stuff. The dish washing liquid thingy we have atm says on it 'no animal ingredients'?
No but sometimes it could have agents from animals such as oils
With parts of them. Many soaps and detergents contain animal fat, and glycerin.
i'd say its something to do with glycerin (a jelling agent) or animal fat
ahahahhaahaahah
they just mean fats.
every kind of soap has fat of some sort in it
maybe.
i think the others would be fats and oils maybe from the skin

Is 1 cup of a dry ingredient the same as 1 cup of a liquid ingredient?
For example, If a recipe calls for 1 cup of flower, and later, for 1 cup of water, can you use the same measuring cup? Or do you need a different one for dry ingredients and one for liquids? Is 1 cup of a dry ingredient the same as 1 cup of a liquid ingredient?

Same thing. A cups a cups a cup.
You can use the same for both. If you're using one of those plastic kind with a lip on it, make sure you look inside at the line of measurement. I prefer glass for liquid and round metal cups for dry. Good Luck!!
I'm not familar with liquid and dry cups. Ounces can be liquid or weight. If you are talking about liquid ounces, there are 8 of those to a cup. With ounces for weight, you are talking about 16 to a pound.
The density of the material is the question here. A cup of air will weight far less than a cup of lead even though both have 8 fluid ounces volume.
You don't need a different measuring cup.

its an add water mix and gets mouldy after a week or so,it also has a soapy(liquid) feel to it leading me to thing it may be glyceren.i buy this stuff and add water to it to cut glass beads on a diamond saw to keep it running cool, and to add life to the diamond wet saw blade.how can i make it myself?Ingredients of liquid used to keep diamond saw blades cool while cutting gemstones or glass beads?
I use Crystal Cut with my diamond saws. It is a water additive that is a rust inhibitor and should be used with diamond wheels and trip saws
You only need to mix 1 ounce of this to a gallon of water--a lot of bang for the buck. I buy 5 pounds of it for about $23.00, or 80 gallons worth at about 29-cents a gallon.
To skimp on this type of product in your lapidary workshop is to be penny-wise and pound-foolish. If you use water alone your equipment will rust out quickly and will be expensive to replace.
I've never found it to get ';mouldy'; or cloudy and I've had jugs of it sitting around for several weeks. If you are using a different brand, you may want to consider switching. Any reputable lapidary supply such as Kingsley North should be able to provide it for you.Ingredients of liquid used to keep diamond saw blades cool while cutting gemstones or glass beads?

You could try measuring your amount and putting it into a small jug then put the small jug into a bigger jug that is filled with boiling or hot water. Have done this with golden syrup and it becomes runnier and easier to manage. Or you could heat the container that the liquid is in, in hot water to make it runnier
I use the same container I measured the oil in, if the recipe called for it.
A greased spatula works great too.

It's not a very expensive product to buy, so I would not attempt to concoct a homemade solution for fear of ruining your pool's chemistry.

What are the ingredients in Clinique liquid facial soap mild and clarifying lotion 2?
All of Cliniques products are great for sensitive skins not to mention they are Allergy Tested, Fragrance Free, and 100% derm. developed. I have been on the 3-step for years and love it!
With the Clarifying Lotion # 2 some of the ingredients are Alcohol (which just leaves that feeling of clean) water, witch hazel, glycerin, menthol, sodium borate and a few others.
The mild soap I do not know the ingredients on but I have used before with I love because it is really gentle and great for the skin.
If your hesitant about trying it I would because they back up their products and if something does not work out you can go back in and either return it or get re-evaluated to make sure it is working out.

How do certain ingredients effect, how quickly different liquid will boil?
Ingredients like Salt, Sugar, Lemon
Juice, and Baking soda increase the bpt of a liquid like water.
This is because when added to water, they decrease the surface area of water exposed to the atmosphere. Accordingly, the vapor pressure (vp) of water decreases. What is the difference( in ingredients ) between washing up liquid and washing powder?
I`m not sure the difference in the ingredients but liquid is better....powder sometimes will leave clumps in your wash....If you have a septic tank you should always use liquid.
Sorry I could not be of more help..What is the difference( in ingredients ) between washing up liquid and washing powder?
Bulk for one. The powder is bulkier so you sacrifice shelf space.
Second I find I get a residue on the clothes when I use dry powder in our very hard water. Hardly none with liquid detergent.
Washing soap is something all together different and not good for use in hard water as it leaves a soapy residue on the clothes.
If you are asking if there is more sodium in dry vs. liquid, I don't know.

My neighbor's hired a lawn care company to get rid of all the weeds on their lawn. They sprayed this yellow-tinted liquid onto their lawn, which killed off all the living plants, weeds or grass. They then spread seedlings directly on top of the dead, dry matter, and new grass began to grow on top.

I'm trying to make a cake and I'm not sure how to measure liquids and powdered ingredients.
I need the direction by steps, pleeaaassseWhat is the proper way of measuring liquid and powdered ingredients?
Powdered
Fill the cup, 1/2 cup tsp, tbs etc. so its overflowing then level it off with the back of a knife.
- It doesn't really matter it you do it this way or not, but in my food tech. class thats how we were told.
Or use scales
Liquid
Fill up the measuring jug to the desired amount.
What is the proper way of measuring liquid and powdered ingredients?
For measuring liquid and dry ingredients there are different kinds of tools. To measure liquid Pyrex makes a glass measure that usually starts at 1 cup and has the other measures that are less on it also. This cup has a handle and spout on it. They make them to measure up to 4 cups at one time ,I believe. To measure dry you would use the little plastic set of cups. They usually come on a ring, all together, starting at 1/8 cup up to 1 cup.
You definitely should use the one for liquid and the other plastic ones for dry because they are different and your cake will not turn out right. Good luck and have fun baking!
Powdered ingredients should be measured by weight, but volume is acceptable.
Liquids are measured by volume.
It's easiest to just use measuring cups.
I'd say to use a pair or kitchen scales and a regular cup. Tha't's what is commonly used and you don't have to be spot on. You cake should turn out alright.

Many people are allergic to the dyes and perfumes in softeners.

Laundry Detergent
1 oz. liquid castile soap
1/2 cup washing soda
1/2 cup borax
1/4 cup baking soda or 1/4 cup white vinegar
Using the liquid castile soap as a base, combine with washing soda, borax (for stains and bleaching), and either baking soda (reduces static and softens fabrics) or white vinegar (softens fabrics, reduces static and bleaches clothes). If you feel like your clothes aren't clean enough, play around with the amount of liquid castile soap, using from 1 oz. to 1 cup.
http://www.thegreenguide.com/blog/diy_di鈥?/a>What are the ingredients of liquid laundry soap and white distilled vinegar?
Distilled vinegar is not distilled. The name merely means that it is made from distilled alcohol. This is done in a fermentation process in which the fermenting bacteria, a species of Acetobacter, oxidizes the added alcohol to acetic acid. The fermentation mixture is filtered and diluted to give an acetic acid concentration of about 5%. This is vinegar. It does contain nitrogenous material which is in part derived from the nutrient mixture added to the fermentation in order to keep the Acetobacter growing, and in part from those bacteria that die and disintegrate during the fermentation. This acetic fermentation is common to all vinegars so that they all contain the same kinds of nitrogenous 'contaminants', although in differing amounts.
As far as liquid laundry soap, it depends on who makes it. Just google liquid laundry soap and you will find a ton of different options:

How do i measure Dry and Liquid Baking ingredients Properly?
in home ec we learned to measure dry ingredients in a plastic measuring cup and using a knife to level it off and use a clear glass cup for liquids and to set it on a level surface and look at it at eye level for accuracy
Jelly or liquid lip gloss?
which lip gloss is better the jelly kind or the liquid kind cause when i put it on and just sit that white stuff gets into the corner of my mouth and i hate it and just wondering what can i do to prevent that from happening and make the lip gloss last longer and what can id do about the white stuff around my mouthJelly or liquid lip gloss?
I find that the liquidy types feel better on my lips and don't get that gunk that you're talking about in the corners of my mouth. unfortunately, they don't last as long so you'll have to reapply more often. I guess you have to take the good with the bad until someone invents an absolutely perfect lip gloss.

Does my liquid make-up (lip gloss, nail polish, coverup) count as liquids on my carry on ?
and why is this posted on the aircraft section? try Air TravelDoes my liquid make-up (lip gloss, nail polish, coverup) count as liquids on my carry on ?
If you go to the website I have listed below it literally tells you everything you can and can not take on an aircraft whether you check it in or have it as a carry on item. I use this website every time I go and haven't had problems.
I think lipgloss is fine but nail polish and coverup (depending on the size) may not be allowed.
Good luck and I hope the site is beneficial to you!

yes they mean all liquids :) be sure to put them where your supposed to or have the ounces your supposed to or they will make you throw them away. and they will go threw your check bags if not in zip lock bag
Yes, but as long as they're less than 100ml they'll be okay to take on in your hand luggage. Otherwise you have to check them into the hold.
as long as its smaller than 6ounces it should be fine.coolest myspace

It is said liquids under 3ounces should go in the little plastic bag when traveling does lip gloss apply too.?
Does lip gloss apply to the 3 ounces rule and do i put in the ziploc bag or can i just put in my make up bag? One more question can i take my umbrella in my carry on bag or will it be considered a weapon? It is said liquids under 3ounces should go in the little plastic bag when traveling does lip gloss apply too.?
Hey there!
Im going to travel this saturday, you must always check the rules and regulations of flying as they vary and change every year.
Only limited quantities of liquids may be carried through security control in hand baggage.
This includes bottled drinks, suntan lotion, fragrances, cosmetics and toiletries.
The following restrictions apply to all liquids, creams, gels, pastes and aerosols taken through security control.
● Liquid items may only be carried in containers holding up to 100ml.
● They must be carried separately in a single transparent, resealable plastic bag.
● The bag must be no larger than 20cm x 20cm (8in x 8in) and all items must fit inside so that it closes properly.
● At security control the bag must be placed separately on the conveyor belt for screening.
● Liquid items larger than 100ml should be packed in your hold luggage – otherwise they will be confiscated.
Exceptions to the 100ml rule can be made for baby food or milk. However, you should only carry what you need for the flight, and you will be asked to taste at least 50 per cent of the containers at security control.
Exceptions may also be made for medicines. However, you may be asked to taste any liquid medicines, or to provide evidence (such as a doctor's letter) that you need them for your journey.
----------------------------------
Shopping at the airport
Anything you buy after security control can be taken on board the aircraft, including bottled drinks, fragrances and cosmetics in sizes over 100ml.
If you are returning the same day, or catching a connecting flight after Stansted, store staff will need to place your purchases in a special sealed bag.It is said liquids under 3ounces should go in the little plastic bag when traveling does lip gloss apply too.?
Yes, lip gloss should go into your one quart bag. Anything that is a lotion, gel, paste or cream needs to go into the bag. Your umbrella if a fold up kind will be fine in your carry on.

Can i take Vaseline/ lip gloss on my flight? What are the guidelines on liquids?
Im going on a mid-haul flight tomorrow from one place in Europe to another.
I need to know whether I can take my lip gloss/vaseline in my hand luggage as I believe I can't take other liquids...
Is this correct? Can i take Vaseline/ lip gloss on my flight? What are the guidelines on liquids?
If you are taking it through the security checkpoint and onto the plane in a carry-on, it has to be (I'm pretty sure) under 4oz, possibly a little bit less. It also must be in a zip top sandwich bag or something similar. I'm pretty sure thats what it has to be in but I'm not sure of the exact size but if you happen not to have it my airport lets me buy one for like 50 cents or something like that. I'm not sure about Europe's airport restrictions/rules. You can also consult TSA's website if you need more help. Can i take Vaseline/ lip gloss on my flight? What are the guidelines on liquids?
Liquids and gels (lip gloss) can be taken on board if they are in 3 oz. or less containers and placed in a one-quart ziplock bag. The bag goes through the x-ray machine separately.
Specific details; while this is US-specific, most international airports follow the same guidelines:

They never stop you for lipgloss. I always have mine and I dont ever put it into a baggie. Last time I got on a flight I had a bottle of water and they didnt even catch it. So much for our safety.

Which lip-gloss do you prefer liquid lip-smackers or, n.y.c. roll on lip-gloss?
i am doing a science fair project about lip gloss and these are the two lip glosses i am testing and i am going to do a survey on what people would rather but based on price and how good and how long the lip gloss last. the lip smackers cost $2.14 and the n.y.c. lip gloss cost $1.79.Which lip-gloss do you prefer liquid lip-smackers or, n.y.c. roll on lip-gloss?
I prefer lip smackers over NYC because I don't really like roll ons(they are pretty messy). I can't lie- lip smackers are pretty expensive for just a little amount of lip gloss you get, but there is more lip gloss in the NYC tube( it's also cheap). Overall, I like lip smackers because it helps your lips and it smells good too!Which lip-gloss do you prefer liquid lip-smackers or, n.y.c. roll on lip-gloss?
I prefer NYC. Their products, in general, are very good quality, especially for the price.
Lip Smackers ftw

Very liquid-ey lip gloss?
i have this awesome lip gloss but i feel like its toooo liquid-ey you know?
i wish it would be smoother and for of a paste than a gel.
any trick to get it to harden?
or any thing to make it smoother?
thanks.Very liquid-ey lip gloss?
you could keep it in the refrigerator before you use it. it's risky to do a mix, but if it were me, i'd probably put some of my mineral primer in it, or some lipstick in it %26amp; crush it up..like i say - it would be risky.Very liquid-ey lip gloss?
Put two coats of colorless lip balm on before the lipgloss. It will feel much smoother. Also, don't put too much on!
Mix it with vaseline.
try putting baby powder in it and sticking it in the fridge.

I'm sure it will be fine; if you don't like it alone you can wear it over your lipstick.

Do cosmetics have an expiry date? For liquid ones especially, like moisturizer, lip gloss?
I'm talking about okay brands here, like the FaceShop, Body Shop, Clinique. i have used for about 3 years, is it okay? what's the max. keep date?Do cosmetics have an expiry date? For liquid ones especially, like moisturizer, lip gloss?
Honestly, I have never exactly followed the rules of the expiration dates on makeup. Now, it is said that there are bacterias that can grow in the powders, but I have never had an issue and neither has anyone else that I have ever know.
Still, I do try to follow proper storage rules for makeup by making sure that the they're stored in a cool area and sealed tightly.
This excludes mascaras and eyeliners because I like to have fresh ones to line my eye.
The average quoted time for powders is two years expiry and mascaras/eyeliners are 3 to 4 months.
Liquid foundations are 3 to 4 months, while lipsticks/lip gloss are one to two years.
I have switched to those bare escentuals eye shadows that come in the little pots and their is no way I'd throw away all that powder after two years.Do cosmetics have an expiry date? For liquid ones especially, like moisturizer, lip gloss?
I never follow any set date on cosmetics. And,most don't even have a set date printed on them!
If a product like lip gloss smells good, and will go on fine when you test it on a finger,it should be fine.If a lipgloss has a sour smell when you open it,or is seperating inside the tube, then it's time to throw it out.
As for what you asked...yes,I have used some lipglosses 3 years after getting them.Others I have had to throw away less than 1 year after getting them.It varies.
鈥oncealer Up to 12 months.
鈥owder 2 years.
鈥ream %26amp; gel cleansers 1 year.
鈥encil eye liner Should be sharpened regularly. Will last up to 3 years.
鈥yeshadow Will also last up to 3 years. Extra tip: A dark eyeshadow can double as eyeliner, in fact, most makeup artists swear by eyeshadow used as eyeliner. You'll need a super-flat eyeliner brush for this (MAC, Sephora and Aveda have great brushes). Get the brush a little damp and dab in dark eyeshadow (black, brown or deep jewel-tones work great). Wiggle the brush into your lash line focusing on the space between your lashes, then sweep the color just above your lash line.
鈥rushes Wash every 2-3 months in a mild detergent
鈥ponges Wash weekly and discard monthly
鈥oundation Check the ingredients: A water-based foundation will last up to 12 months, oil-based will last up to 18 months. You may find you need two different shades of foundation each year: One for summer when your skin is naturally darker and one for winter when you're lighter. Extra tip: If your water-based foundation dries out before it's expiration date, simply add a few drops of alcohol-free toner and shake to mix it in. No need to do this to oil-based foundations. Because they contain oil, they will tend to separate. You have to shake anyway.
鈥ip liner Up to 3 years. Extra tip: Skip the push-up lipliners. They're expensive, tend to break and you never really know how much you have left until you run out. No need to spend money on lip liners, there's no secret to greatness for this product. Save your money for powders and foundation.
鈥ipstick Some experts say 1-2 years. Others say up to 4 years. What everyone agrees on is that if it smells rancid, throw it out, it's spoiled. Extra tip: If you store lipstick in the refrigerator, it will last longer. Bonus tip: Want your lipstick to last longer during the day? Shade in lips with lip liner before applying lipstick.
鈥ascara This product expires the fastest: Throw out after 4 months. Extra tip: If you don't want your mascara to expire faster than its fresh date, don't pump the wand in and out -- you're only exposing the product to drying air.
鈥ail Polish Up to 12 months, depending on the quality and how many times you take it on a plane (the cap always unscrews on me during flights, leaving my purse a -- fume-y -- mess!).
I think most of them dont say.
however, you should change your makeup regularly, depending on what type of make up it is.
for example, you should change eyeliner and mascara more often because they come in close contact with your eyes, and you dont want to use them for too long because the bacteria could accumulate etc etc and its touching your eye so its more sensitive.
I'm really bad at this because I don't follow the expiration dates at all.
If I am using the products then when they start smelling or looking strange I throw them out.
However, the make up that I have not used I keep in my make up drawer for 1 to 2 years.
id consider getting rid of them if i were you. your supposed to change your mascara for about three months because of the germs.
lipgloss - one year.
moisturizer - 3-6 months.
wow. go treat yourself to some new makeup [:
its a wonder how youve kept it so long, i go through mine so quickly!
this is a great video by Julieg713 on youtube
she explains all about the shelf like of makeup and the differences of the shelf life between different makeup products
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B85lDP05A鈥?/a>
Yes most do, You can tell by looking at the back of your product.
There should be a logo with a pot open with 24m or 12m e.t.c
standing for how many months before it expires.
its should say on there... most of mine have something on the bottle that looks like a tiny powder compact outline somewhere like on the bottom of the bottle that says 12M, 24M(onths) etc
yes they do you should change them. and plus u
have to be careful with makeup because it goes on ur face
and ur face is an important part of yourself

Yes most do, You can tell by looking at the back of your product.
There should be a logo with a pot open with 24m or 12m e.t.c
standing for how many months before it expires.
its should say on there... most of mine have something on the bottle that looks like a tiny powder compact outline somewhere like on the bottom of the bottle that says 12M, 24M(onths) etc
yes they do you should change them. and plus u
have to be careful with makeup because it goes on ur face
and ur face is an important part of yourself
Jelly or liquid lip gloss?
which lip gloss is better the jelly kind or the liquid kind cause when i put it on and just sit that white stuff gets into the corner of my mouth and i hate it and just wondering what can i do to prevent that from happening and make the lip gloss last longerJelly or liquid lip gloss?
The liquid type doesn't dry out as easily, so it should help with the white stuff. I usually just try to find one that's not sticky. The liquid is generally better for that as well.Jelly or liquid lip gloss?
I like Jelly lipgloss. It makes your lips look prettier and more luscious
you got all the answers you need hun : ]
try using a shiney chapstick
Well there are pros and cons to each. A lot of times the liquid lipglosses seem to evaporate in seconds and sometimes leave not-to-hott looking residue behind while the jelly lipglosses can be oh-so-sticky..and my boyfriend HATES it when he kisses me and I have sticky lips. I personally LOVE Bath and Body Works mint lipgloss...its in a green tube...it is originally $7.50 (I got mine on sale for $5.00)...you can get it in a clear gloss or tinted in a variety of shades. It tastes amazing, goes on smooth, lasts for a decent time, is not sticky, and does not leave anything behind. :)
chap stick
good brand on liquid.
just go with SMACKERSS!
liquid most defently trust me
Urban decay has lip sorbet and also a moisturizer you put on prior to your lipgloss/stick. Keep a small mirror in your purse and check periodically that's really the best...
You can get a sample of the best lip gloss at www.marykay.com/kfrench2006 just email her and let her know what color you'd like to try
don't put so much on. you really only need a little. try mac cosmetics lip gloss called lip glass. its a really great lip gloss and it stays on forever with out the clumpies
